Whenever I lost my temper at anything, he’d say ‘just a minute mum, let me get your calm stone!’ ? – Jo-anne My son used to call rose quartz my ‘calm stone’. I call it my goddess cream because I feel totally aligned with the goddess within. I also noticed I felt more confident and self love, I felt strong yet loving. My rose quartz made my skin tingle and feel full and plump. I have been infusing crystal energy into my aromatherapy skin care products. Maybe it was the crystals or maybe the mindfulness, but I am still very grateful to rose quartz and haematite! – Bronwyn I came away refreshed, calm and be able to continue with ease. Last time I was very lost and down, I sat and connected with rose quartz which felt warm in one hand to remind me of my soft, heart, nurturer, and cold haematite in my other hand and it supported my strong, focused core. Jade for me is very centering and grounding. It always helps me feel settled and supported when I’m anxious or stressed. I feel rose quartz is loving and nurturing. I’ve asked a few of you in my Mer-tribe to share your thoughts on rose quartz or jade and here are some beautiful words: Jade vs Rose Quartz: Crystal Energy Profile So when you’re trying to choose between a jade roller and a rose quartz one, it’s pretty much down to their unique energy profiles. When you choose a face roller, think about the size, the weight (large and heavy rollers are not ideal to use on your face), the craftsmanship (whether it’s durable and if it’ll last), and the authenticity of the crystals that they’re made out of. I recommend spraying it with alcohol spray and wipe dry with a piece of soft cloth. In terms of cleaning the rollers, both types of crystals are porous so it’s a big no no to clean with any harsh chemicals. Just be mindful that some of the cheap jade rollers on Ebay and Amazon could well be made out of fake stone with injected plastics and dyes ( read my previous post here). As they’re both natural stone, they’re naturally cooling on your skin and that should help with de-puffing. In terms of use and results, both jade rollers and rose quartz rollers are pretty the same. But if we need to pick one, I’m here to help. If you decide that you need both for that perfect shelfie, I totally get it (I myself have a collection of over 20 face rollers!). Now the question is, team rose quartz or team jade? You’ve seen them both on Instagram, but you’re super confused about any differences between the two. So after reading my previous post on face rolling FAQ and 101, you’re now convinced that a crystal face roller is THE ONE – a divine and relaxing routine to sculpt your face and detox your skin.
